Mark Ly is all in on his blind and has the “Brunson”, the Tc 2h. Cantu has the Qs 5h and has him dominated. The board came the Ad 5d 4d Qc 8d and Brandon Cantu has won event # 2.

Event 2, the $1,500 buyin No Limit Hold ‘em event, Brian Cantu took down the gold bracelet and $757,839.

WSOP 2006 - Event 1: Chris Gros wins Casino Employee NLHE $500 Buy-In

And its over. Bryan raised to 30K and Chris called. Chris check-raised on the flop of 8 3 3 rainbow, Bryan moved all in and Chris called. Bryan’s AK suited was in bad shape against Chris’ trip threes (he had 4-3 in hand). Blanks fell on the board and Chris the newest WSOP bracelet holder!

Chris Gros finished in 1st place, earning $127,616 and the gold WSOP bracelet.
