iPoker 4.0 Released

iPoker Mac Poker SoftwareToday (11/23/06) Scenario Software released an updated, universal version of their popular iPoker software. In case you haven’t used it - it’s great. This is not multiplayer, not an online mac poker site. This is a standalone play poker on the plane ride to Grandma’s house for Thanksgiving kind of app. And it does that job beautifully.

iPoker, available here, offers 101 poker games (pineapple and all), up to 11 Quicktime animated players, whose AI is adjustable, you can play with your iSight camera, much more….

Here’s a shot of the table in play:

AAPL taking off - could this mean an influx of new MAC poker players?

AAPLAAPL is soaring. They dropped to 50 and I should have bought more but I needed more coffee and two grande lattes later I was out of liquid cash. They just hit a record high at 85+ and I think we’re seeing a bit of profit taking (?time to buy). With news today that the iPhone is coming, I only see a bullish future for AAPL.

Mac poker players rejoice - once the UIGEA gets revoked we’ll hopefully see a lot more OS X Universal poker clients out there to go along with Full Tilt.

Will MacPoker Pro and PokerTracker get on board to give us more of the statistical analysis we’ve come to enjoy.
