Based in Iowa City, Iowa, cardroomsupply.com is a great resource for the amateur or even professional home player setting up a place to play poker at home. They have a great range of products and an easily navigated website powered by the Yahoo Store platform. The only area that needs to be worked on are their pages on casino tables which remain “under construction”.

What sort of merchandise do they have? Here is the list:
• Tables: They offer a huge variety - from folding tables to the highest end casino quality Texas Holdem poker tables. They can add anything you need to your table from drink holders to drop boxes.
• Poker Chips: A small but very high quality selection - 13gm clay casino chips which I own and enjoy, Paulson and Chipco chips whose reputation you are probably familiar with if you’re in the market for nice chips - they are all reasonably priced ($1.10 / chip for Paulsons).
• Chip Sets are available in various shapes and sizes - I like the clear acrylic 1000 chip container.

• Buttons: blinds, dealer, kill and others are available.

Have you seen it? The newest Bond is a great flick. Gone are the gadgets and baloney that have increasingly marred recent Bonds. This filim is well constructed, beautifully constructed with a great cast. What appeals most in this flick are the characters - Bond is as smarmy as Connery was, and his leading lady is just as smarmy right back.

Interestingly, the film is full of poker. Gone is the Baccarat. No limit Texas Holdem seems to be the game of choice of British spys, Felix Leiter and the CIA, and all of their nefarious opponents. Yeah, perhaps the dealer should have separated pots when there were four people all-in, but it wouldn’t have mattered because everybody knows Bond is going to take it down.

The only major problem with the movie is his vfib arrest due to dig toxicity at the grand finale poker showdown in Montenegro. This will not respond to defibrillation - although the AED attempt was valiant. I think what he needed was digibind — but what can you do — maybe that’s what he injected in his neck…but why would MI6 include that in the glove compartment first aid kit?

Forget about Annie Duke, Evelyn Ng and Shana Hiatt, Full Tilt cover girl, Brandi Hawbaker, has arrived. Her story is one of crime, sexual depravity, Dutch Boyd as a shining white knight, Dutch Boyd as a backstabbing patent peddler, Doyle Brunson as the kind heart he is known to be, 100K from Full Tilt for the photo at right and more… You have to read the original 2+2 thread to get the full flavor - but it is a half million posts long so you might not make it that far.

8. Phil Gordon gives Brandi money, but she gets her BMW repossessed and eats a thanksgiving meal alone.

9. Brandi is pissed and out for revenge. She punches a dude and has a panic attack.
