iPoker 4.0 Released
Today (11/23/06) Scenario Software released an updated, universal version of their popular iPoker software. In case you haven’t used it - it’s great. This is not multiplayer, not an online mac poker site. This is a standalone play poker on the plane ride to Grandma’s house for Thanksgiving kind of app. And it does that job beautifully.
iPoker, available here, offers 101 poker games (pineapple and all), up to 11 Quicktime animated players, whose AI is adjustable, you can play with your iSight camera, much more….

Apple releases a Texas Holdem Game for the iPod
Mac Poker Freaks are downloading from the iTunes Music Store right now, as Apple has released a $4.99 Holdem game which can be played on video iPods (but not the Nano).
Reviews are coming in and are mixed. Seems like something that might be fun, but no competition for software like Poker Academy. Let us know how you’ve liked the iPod Holdem game.
